Standards & Processes
In series development, the focus is on meeting the set quality and safety standards.
For this purpose, we have combined the Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 processes in a joint development process for mechatronic system, hardware and software development, established them and applied them in various projects.
In doing so, we ensure the complete traceability of all process artifacts of the entire development as well as the necessary supporting processes such as project, quality, configuration, change and error management.
This is done by using the application lifecycle management tool Siemens Polarion and by directly integrating all tools for hardware and software development into the process landscape.
SPICE / ISO 15504
This norm defines an international standard for quality assurance in software development and for carrying out assessments to evaluate the associated development processes in the company. For quality assurance, adcos has introduced standardized SPICE processes for software development and used them in customer projects.
ISO 26262
ISO 26262 defines internationally valid requirements for the development of safety-critical systems in the automotive sector. The standard defines a development process and a system life cycle that ensures that the safety classification (ASIL-A to ASIL-D) placed on the developed system is met.
adcos has introduced a corresponding development process and a suitable tool chain for the development of safety-critical model-based software and used it in customer projects.
